We wanted to take a moment to update you on things here at Insight Wealth, as well as tell you about some of the people we’ve helped recently.
Our charity recommendation incentive scheme
As you may know, last year we launched our charity recommendation incentive scheme to support the Hope Centre.
We will make a £50 charitable donation to the Hope Centre for every initial meeting we have that comes from a client recommendation. Whether the meeting takes place in person or remotely (via Zoom, Teams, etc.), we’ll donate. There’s not even a requirement for them to become clients!
Simply put, if you recommend your friends, family or colleagues to us and we meet with them, we’ll make a £50 donation on your behalf.
What is the Hope Centre?
The Hope Centre is an exceptional charity that supports those experiencing problems with homelessness, addiction and mental health in Northamptonshire. They provide hot drinks, meals, warm spaces, and various types of guidance and support to those in need. Through collaboration and compassion, they offer hope, stability, and a brighter future for vulnerable people.
The charity helps around 60 people a day with their “Hand Up” service, helping the homeless and disadvantaged with food, care and support. Around 180 people are registered to use their “Learning4Living” programmes, which provide a range of activities, groups and courses to help those in the community.
There are also around 2,500 households using the Hope Centre’s community larders, which provide food to families who are struggling during the cost of living crisis.
We’re delighted to be able to say that, since launching our charity incentive, we’ve been able to raise £550 for the charity.
The Hope Centre’s community and events fundraiser, Tanya Haji-Miller, had this to say about our charity recommendation incentive scheme’s impact:
“We were delighted when Insight Wealth came to us with their great idea for raising funds for Hope. The money that’s coming in is invaluable to the work we are trying to achieve here at Hope. It’s being spent on helping to get our homeless community off the streets and into a warm place for the day, where we are helping to move them on from their current situation.
We are helping other homeless people get off the streets at night by giving them access to our temporary night shelter. We are giving people living in hardship access to classes and courses to help improve their skills and their confidence and we are helping to feed people who are living in poverty.
We would really struggle to do this work if it wasn’t for people like the staff and customers at Insight Wealth.
You have all been so generous to us and we’d like to thank you all very much.”
Tanya also shared a story with us that showed the real impact of the work they do on the lives of vulnerable people. Pete, who found himself homeless in December last year, was supported by the charity’s incredible team and was one of the first to use their temporary night shelter. You can listen to his story here.
We also found out what sorts of things our latest donation of £300 would be able to buy for those who relied upon The Hope Centre’s services:
- Breakfast, hot lunch and drinks all day for 42 rough sleepers and sofa surfers
- Around five hours of specialist counselling for those suffering from problems with drugs and alcohol or mental health, or debt management support for those in need
- 12 emergency welfare packs for someone facing homelessness
- Food staples for a week for up to 12 families struggling to pay for food.
A thank you from us
We’d like to say thank you to some of the clients who have recommended us to their friends and family in recent months and made our charitable work possible. So, we’d like to say a big thank you to: Andrew and Steve, Nigel, Bill, Shad and Lorna, Dawn and David, and Ted and Gloria.
We’re always thrilled when our clients recommend us, as it validates the work we do. Recommendations to other people allow us to share our expertise and provide peace of mind when it comes to helping our new clients achieve their goals.
We’d also like to share some client stories from those we’ve helped recently…
Providing a more comfortable future through estate planning and investment management:
Patricia came to us for help with her mum’s estate. We helped boost her income by investing some of her inheritance into tax-efficient, income-producing investments, giving her a more comfortable future.
Getting a head start on retirement by paying off a mortgage early:
Andrew wanted to raise some tax-free cash from his pensions to pay off his mortgage, and he had no intention of giving up full-time work. We were able to consolidate his plans and pay out a tax-free lump sum, enabling him to pay off the mortgage and save his monthly outgoings to instead prepare for retirement.

Who we want to work with
You’ll know other people, including friends, relatives, and work colleagues who we can help. So, here’s a little more information on who we predominantly work with:
- People who are successful and earning a good salary, but time is always escaping them, and their money isn’t working as hard as they are. We’ll work with them to set goals, financial and otherwise, and ensure they’re on track to achieve their long-term goals.
- People who are thinking about giving up work but aren’t sure if they’re prepared. Do they have enough money to retire when they want and live the lifestyle they want? We’ll work with them to provide clarity over their current situation and create a plan to achieve their goals.
- People who are financially secure, retired and living the life they dreamed of. Now, their attention has turned to wealth preservation and protecting their family’s future. We’ll work with them to distribute wealth while minimising taxation, without affecting their lifestyle.
Here’s what to do if you want to recommend someone to us:
We’re always happy to chat with people who you think we can help. So, if you know friends, relatives and work colleagues who we can help, please ask them to get in touch, and we look forward to giving them the same peace of mind that you hopefully have after working with us.
